Visiting nana at work

Hilton wanted to visit his nana at work before we left town. Here they are in her office.

This is one of Seth's baby pictures when he was just over 2 months old (the same age as Hilton is right now). Hilton looks a lot like his daddy did!

Tennessee bound

Seth had to work a 24 hour call shift starting the morning of december 24th so it was just Hilton and me on Christmas eve. Seth got home around 7:15 Christmas morning and we were on the road to Tennessee by 8 am. Hilton did great on his first long car ride...slept most of the time! This pic is when we stopped in Asheville to take a stretch break. Love my two boys!!

Holiday fun!

Hilton and I went to see Ava, Lauren, and Ansara earlier this week! We ate a delicious lunch outside on the patio since the weather was so nice. The girls made some cute ornaments for us which I have already put on our tree. Hilton enjoyed being fed by Ava and Lauren, and then falling asleep in Ansara's arms. We also walked to a nearby park where Lauren had a great time pushing Hilton in his stroller! After my visit to the Piebenga's house, I drove over to the office to say hi to my co workers and to bring them some cookies we made. It was great seeing everyone again. I will be seeing them more in just 3 short weeks when my maternity leave is over.

Christmas smiles from Hilton!

Hilton is so happy Christmas is almost here. Hope he is this happy Christmas morning when we make the 7.5 hour drive to cookeville, tn.

2 month check-up

Hilton and I headed to the doctor for his 2 month check-up on Tuesday, and we have a very heathy boy(praise the Lord). Weighing in at 12lbs. and measuring 23.25 inches long, the doctor said Hilton was "long and lean." He did receive his immunizations, which was a little tough to watch, but after a little hug and the comfort of a paci, he was fine (the nurse even said "wow, he calmed down very quick"). He is a tough little boy! Can't believe he is 2 months old already! Time flies when you're having fun!

Growing boy

Can't believe this boy is 2 months old already!! He is smiling a lot more now which is very entertaining. Headed to the doctor soon!

Santa Claus!

Hilton met Santa Claus today! Our neighborhood had a holiday party and Santa was there. Hilton was very excited to meet him, can't you tell?!

Baby stocking

Honey sent this "baby's first Christmas" stocking to Hilton! He loves it!

Christmas pajama party!!!

The three of us went to a Christmas pj party at the Yoe's house! Hilton had a great time and loved meeting everyone. He also enjoyed wearing his new Christmas pajamas (thank you, nana)!

Introducing a bottle

> We introduced Hilton to a bottle last week. I wasn't sure if he would like it, but he took to it right away! Seth really enjoyed being able to feed him. We plan to let Seth feed him with a bottle one a day. He needs to get used to it because in January I will be going back to work.

Look what Aunt Lindsay made!

My sister in law, Lindsay, is very talented and stitched this for Hilton! It looks great in his nutsery. Aunt Lindsay is married to my older brother, David, and they live in Vienna, Austria. Hilton is looking forward to meeting them over the Christmas holiday!
